Swansea Building Society is expanding its presence in West Wales with the appointment of Paula John as the new Business Development Manager for the Pembrokeshire area. With a tenure at the Society dating back to July 2016, Paula will be based at the Carmarthen branch, playing a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that amplify the Society’s dedication to growth and community engagement in Pembrokeshire. In her new role, John brings an abundance of experience, having held various positions within Swansea Building Society. Starting as a Manager’s Assistant and achieving excellence as a Mortgage Advisor for the past two years, since January 2022, her seven and a half years of dedicated service exemplify Swansea Building Society’s commitment to fostering and advancing its internal talent, as highlighted by her recent promotion.

 

In her new capacity, John will leverage her 35 years of comprehensive experience in the finance industry. Her new role as Business Development Manager will see her fortifying relationships with key stakeholders in the Pembrokeshire area, including brokers, solicitors, accountants, valuers, and estate agents.

John’s professional journey has equipped her with a diverse skill set, ranging from cashiering duties to the role of Financial Adviser. John holds notable qualifications, including CeMap, CeFa, and DipRBCB, and her strengths lie in delivering a personalised approach to each applicant, resulting in positive outcomes for all parties involved. With a focus on customer-centric practices, she aims to guide clients through the mortgage application process seamlessly.
