Ansvar Insurance has announced the appointment of David Eccles as Head of Distribution. With an extensive background spanning over two decades in the insurance industry, David brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Ansvar team.
Prior to joining Ansvar, David held various roles within charity, SME and pet insurance sectors, as well as at an insuretech start-up. David has also held key positions at Zurich Municipal, Expression Insurance, and Markerstudy Insurance, establishing himself in the field of distribution.
Ansvar is part of the Benefact Group, the charity-owned specialist financial services organisation. The Benefact Group stands as the UK’s third-largest corporate donor, reinforcing Ansvar’s commitment to supporting the broader charitable community.
In his new role, David will be steering Ansvar’s Sales and Marketing teams through a period of significant growth and expansion for the company. He is committed to reinforcing Ansvar’s position as the insurer of choice for the third sector, by bringing simplification, innovation, and market-leading commercial capability to both Ansvar and its valued broker partners.
