Aqilla, the intelligent cloud-based accounting and reporting application company, announces the appointment of Mark Simmance as Head of Partnerships. Head of Partnerships is a newly created position within Aqilla, and Mark will be responsible for recruiting, managing and supporting new and existing partners. Target partners include, but are not limited to, software vendors and IT consultants specialising in accounting and financial installations.
Mark Simmance’s appointment marks an evolution in Aqilla’s strategy, reflecting a desire within the organisation to proactively recruit partners. To that end, Aqilla is also launching a new partner programme, which Mark will manage. The programme has four tiers: Bronze: Referral Partner, Silver: Co-Reseller, Gold: Reseller, and Platinum: Accredited. This tiered approach ensures partners get tailored help and support based on their experience, client engagement, and technical support requirements.
“Aqilla has always worked closely with partners, but it was very much on a case-by-case basis, and we didn’t proactively recruit them,” comments Hugh Scantlebury, Aqilla’s CEO and Founder. “Mark’s appointment and the official launch of our partner programme are both part of our strategy to ramp up partner recruitment and lay the foundations for Aqilla’s future growth.”
“Our ideal partners will be looking to provide their customers with innovative, modern finance and accounting solutions,” says Mark Simmance. It’s also vital that they maintain Aqilla’s excellent reputation, customer service standards and integrity. As part of my role, I will support partners on that journey, helping them deploy Aqilla’s cloud-based solution to automate key accounting and finance processes, improve report generation speeds, and deliver advanced financial analysis capabilities.”
